Catalogue of Romanian Bioinformatic Services - CaRoBioS

Under development - provisional page

This upcoming section will feature a comprehensive list of services developed by Romanian research groups in the life sciences. These services will encompass:

Data resources designed for reuse by Romanian and international research groups.

Bioinformatics software and pipelines.

Training resources, including training portals and event series.

A review process will be organized to assess the resources for inclusion on the CRB website. The evaluation criteria will include the potential to increase the number of users, interoperability, and sustainability.

SynergyAge

The SynergyAge database hosts high-quality, manually curated information about the synergistic and antagonistic lifespan effects of genetic interventions in model organisms, also allowing users to explore the longevity relationships between genes in a visual way.

Database
MetaboAge

MetaboAge is a free, open-source, manually curated human aging-related metabolome database. It provides intuitive bioinformatics tools for the visualization, interpretation, and analysis of pathway knowledge with regards to metabolites that change during the aging process.

Database
MitoAge

MitoAge is a curated, publicly available database, containing an extensive collection of mtDNA features and longevity records. It contains calculated mtDNA compositional features of the entire mitochondrial genome, mtDNA coding (tRNA, rRNA, protein-coding genes), and non-coding (D-loop, insertions) regions, codon usage for each protein-coding gene, and longevity records for over 900 species, as well as tools for the comparative analysis of mtDNA, particularly focusing on animal longevity.
